Insurance
Anthem, Blue Cross, and Blue Shield recently stopped covering most lactation care. The only covered care is what you receive in the hospital. For several years I was in network with these companies. In 2025, they stopped allowing us to be in-network providers. If Anthem, Blue Cross, or Blue Shield tell you that lactation care is covered, it would be on a reimbursement basis. You would pay me directly, I supply you with a superbill, you submit the superbill to your insurance company, and they may reimburse you for some or all of the cost. An initial in-home visit is $200. Follow-up visits are $100. Previously, it was $250 initial and $175 follow-up. I lowered my rates when some of the largest insurers in California stopped covering lactation care.

Office visits are now available for discounted rates. An initial office visit is $150, and follow-up visits are $75.

Virtual visits are $100. Virtual visits are not available in some cases. Certain issues can only be addressed in person.

I accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, FSA/HSA cards, and credit & debit cards.

A superbill can be provided upon request.

You will never be charged fees for afterhours and holiday visits, mileage, credit card transactions, or cancellations.
